Does the product include seeds?
Sorry, our products do not contain seeds, you can buy buckwheat, mustard greens, flax, watercress, chia seeds and more at your local health food store. Some plants, grass seeds can be found in nurseries.
Which plants can I choose to grow?
Vertplanter is suitable for very large numbers of plants. Household potted plants also grow well on the vertplanter. Plants that grow naturally in jungles, rainforests, or near water sources are best. Such as orchids, ferns, begonias, crabapples, mosses, carnivorous plants, chrysanthemums, etc.
How often do I need to add water when growing plants?
The Vertplanter stores a large amount of water and then slowly penetrates the water through the bottle wall to the plant roots. Under normal air humidity and temperature, water needs to be added after about 10 to 15 days. Of course, you can also open the lid to see if you need to add water.
Is this planted indoors or outdoors?
It depends on the type of plant, but we recommend placing it next to an indoor window, out of strong light and wind, so that the Vetplanter will work best.
Do you need to add extra nutrients, growth hormones?
It depends on individual needs. Plants can grow normally without auxiliaries, but with them, plants can grow more lush and faster. We can add these plant growth agents to the Vertplanter or dilute and spray on the roots of the plants.
Is the bottom leaking?
The bottle body will not seep water too fast, and the bottom is designed with widening and heightening, which has the effect of holding water, so there is no need to worry about water overflow. In order to promote the recycling of water, we can also pour the water into the bottle and continue to use it.
How long can plants grow on a Vertplanter？
It depends on the type of plants being planted, sprouted plants can last for months, however, some other plants like ferns, begonias, hoyas, etc… can grow for years.
